30.5.1931 - 13.5.2023

Walter said his last goodbye and now he is at rest. Much loved husband of Elizabeth (Liz) for over 64 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law to Maurice and Helena, Alistair (deceased), Walter(Brent) and Robyn, Hamish, Rosemary and Keith Gibson. Loved Poppa to his 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Neurological Foundation, PO Box 110022, Auckland 1148, or these may be left at the service. A celebration of Walter’s life will be held at Knox Church, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke on Thursday 18th May at 1.30pm followed by a private cremation.
