THOMPSON, Wayne, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne, a dearly loved husband, father and grandfather on Saturday, 29th August 2026, aged 75 years.
Wayne was the beloved husband of Karen, much loved father to Jason and Danielle, Rebecca and James , Myles and Natasha. Cherished Grandad to George, Lucy and Lexi, who will forever hold a special place in his heart, along with Jack the cat. Wayne will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at The Hub, entrance off Allardice Street, Dannevirke on Wednesday 2nd September at 2.00pm followed by a private cremation.
