BUTLER, Herbert Ivan, (Ivan) of Dannevirke on Sunday, 12th July 2026, peacefully with family by his side after a short illness. Born in Dunedin 30th August 1932.

Dearly loved husband of Pauline for 69 years.

Much loved Dad to Julie and Peter Morgan, Stuart and Ces Butler.

Cherished grandad of Anna and Scott Wild, Kate Morgan, Chris Butler(deceased), Vanessa and Zane Scott.

Loved great grandad to Hudson and Morgan, Adelaide, Freya and Olivia.

A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at Knox Church, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke on Wednesday 15th July at 1.30pm followed by a private cremation. The service will be live streamed.

Ivan will be resting at 82 Adelaide Rd, until the day of his service.
