Marie Ann de Schweitzer (nee Broderick)

de Schweitzer, Marie Ann, (nee Broderick), passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday 3rd May 2026, with Francis by her side.

Adored wife and soulmate to Francis for 57 years.

Loved sister and sister-to-law to Kevin and Margaret Broderick, Cheryl and John Palliser, and Peter Schweitzer. (Australia).

A much loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Cancer Society and these may be left at the service.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held at Knox Church, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke on Thursday 7th May at 11.00am followed by a private interment.
