Heather Joy CHEER

CHEER, Heather Joy, (nee Wootton) passed away peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital with family by her side, on Tuesday 10th March 2026, in her 80th year.

Loved and respected wife of Graham for 60 years.

Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Steve and Nic, Dean and Jo, Stuart and Marion.

Cherished nana of Marshall & Aimee, Braden, Emma, Jacob, Alex and Ben. Great-nana of Leighton and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Dannevirke Cancer Support Group and these may be left at the service.

A celebration of Heather’s life will be held at ‘The Hub’ entrance off Allardice Street, Dannevirke on Wednesday 18th March at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Norsewood Lawn Cemetery.
